Eleven weeks of exciting LA City Section sports action is coming soon! Time Warner Cable, the TV home for the CIF Los Angeles City Section, will feature seven pre-determined contests in football and five “Fan’s Choice Games of the Week” (three football and two girls volleyball).
The excitement begins on August 28 when Dorsey travels to defending Division II champion, Hamilton, for a 3 p.m. kick-off. A week later TWC will highlight Narbonne, the defending Division I champion, in a monster showdown against Long Beach Poly on September 3 at 7 p.m. The Gauchos are ranked No. 10 in the State by Cal-Hi Sports with the Jackrabbits coming in at number six.
TWC and the CIFLACS are excited to add girls volleyball this fall to the “Fan’s Choice Games of the Week” for the weeks of September 28 – October 2 and October 12 – 16. Volleyball matches are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays during the week. Like football, fans will have a choice of three matches to vote for by clicking on their favorite matchup at twccommunity.com. Potential matchups will be released a couple weeks prior to the contests for both sports.
