Narbonne wins the Division I Football Championship
Narbonne High School out pointed Carson 48 - 32 in the Football Division I Final to win their second LA City Section Division I Football Championship under coach Manuel Douglas. South East defeated Marshall High School 51-34 in the division II football Championship to win the schools first football championship.

Division III & 8 Man Football Championships decided
View Park defeated Animo South LA Charter by a score of 36 - 6 to walk away with their fourth LA City Section football title in four years. Community Harvest defeated Animo Jackie Robinson in a very close contest by a score of 26 - 22 to win their first LA City Section football championship.

Inaugural Sports Hall of Fame a Success!
Fifty-five graduates were inducted into the "Los Angeles High Schools Sports Hall of Fame" on Sunday, June 5th! It was an exciting event for all inductees and attendees. See the attached program for names and accomplishments of this year's class! The next induction will take place in the spring of 2013.

2011 ALL CITY BASEBALL SELECTION
Coach Armando Gomez, San Fernando High School, was named Coach of the Year by both the Baseball Advisory Committee and the Los Angeles Prep Sports Writers. The 2011 All City Baseball team has been selected for each Division by the Baseball Advisory Committee. The Los Angeles Area Prep Sports Writers selected an All City Team composed of players from all divisions.
