Key CIFLACS Matchups:
  • Central League:
    • Belmont (2-4, 2-0) won two straight games and hopes to continue the streak against Torres (3-3, 1-1), who put up 60 points in a Week 7 win over Roybal (1-6, 0-2).
  • Coliseum League:
    • After a tough loss to Crenshaw (3-4, 2-0) in Week 7, Dorsey (3-4, 1-1) looks to bounce back against Locke (5-2, 1-1), who is on pace to make the playoffs for the second straight year.
  • East Valley League:
    • While Arleta (7-0, 4-0) has the week off from East Valley League play, Verdugo Hills (2-5, 2-1) and Sun Valley Poly (4-3, 2-1) look to make up ground in league standings.
  • Eastern League:
    • Roosevelt's (6-1, 2-1) undefeated streak was broken by South East (7-1, 3-1) in Week 7, they face a must win scenario against Huntington Park (5-2, 1-2) who is hungry for an upset.

  • Pac-8 League (8 Man):

  • West Valley League:
    • After two bigtime wins the West Valley League, Granada Hills (3-4, 2-0) sits atop the league standings. They face a solid El Camino Real (4-3, 1-1) looking to bounce back after losing to Birmingham (4-3, 1-1) in Week 7.
  • Western League:
