  • Central League: 
    • Both Torres (5-3, 3-1) and Contreras (4-5, 3-1) can improve their Division III Playoff hopes with a win in Week 10. Contreras is 2-2 at home and should be tough to beat.
  • Coliseum League: 
    • A Locke (6-3, 2-2) win over West Adams (0-7, 0-4) keeps them in the running for a Division I playoff spot, a loss could be devastating.
  • East Valley League: 
    • Arleta needs a big win over Chavez (3-6, 1-4) to improve their Division I playoff seed. Chavez would like nothing more than to pull off an upset.
    • Sun Valley Poly (5-4, 3-2) is looking like a top competitor in Division II, they face a hungry Monroe (3-6, 1-4) team that needs a win to control their playoff destiny.

  • Eastern League:

    • Despite the fact that both teams are likely to make the playoffs in their respective Divisions, South East (8-1, 4-1) at Huntington Park (5-4, 1-4) should be a hotly contested match.
  • Expo League:
    • The Expo League title is on the line when Legacy (2-6, 1-0) visits Hawkins (2-7, 1-0) in Week 10.
  • Marine League:

    • In what might be the CIF LA City Section Game of the Week, Carson (5-4, 4-0) visits Narbonne (7-2, 4-0) in a Battle for the Marine League title. This matchup will have deep impact in playoff seeding.
  • Non-League

  • Northern League:

  • West Valley League: 
    • Birmingham (6-3, 3-1) will battle Taft (4-5, 2-2) in one of the most competitive rivalries in the West Valley League. This game will air on tape delay on Time Warner Cable Sports.
  • Western League: 
    • A Hamilton (3-6, 1-3) can earn them a spot in the Division II bracket, Palisades (6-3, 2-2) needs a win just as bad in order to make their case for the Division I bracket.
