Dorothea Deitz Memorial Scholarship

The Dorothea Deitz Scholarship was created to encourage young women in New York to pursue careers in the physical education teaching profession. This scholarship is a memorial to Dorothea Deitz, an outstanding teacher, supervisor and director of physical education for many years in Schenectady and Long Island. Deadline: March 31, 2016. Linda Riddle/SGMA Scholarship

The Linda Riddle Scholarship was established in honor of Linda Riddle, whose life exemplified the principles of good sportsmanship, fairness, competition and courage. The goal of this scholarship is to provide young female athletes of limited financial means the opportunity to continue to pursue their sport in addition to their college studies.
