2016 Football Championship Game Day Information

2016 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES: 

Division I   7 pm 

#1 Narbonne (13-0) vs. #2 Dorsey (10-3) 

Division II   3 pm 

#1 Hawkins (13-0) vs. #2 Los Angeles (10-3) 

Division III   11 am 

#1 Franklin (12-1) vs. #2 Reseda (11-2) 

 

CHAMPIONSHIP VENUE

El Camino College, Murdock Stadium will be the site of the Football Championships. 

Murdock Stadium is located at 16007 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, CA 90506 and is easily accessible from the 405 and 91 freeways. 

SPECTATOR PARKING

There is ample parking available in parking lot F and P. Access to the parking is from Redondo Beach Blvd. Parking is $5.00 per car. Please remove all valuables from your vehicle for your own protection. 

PUBLIC ENTRANCE & SEATING - Spectator admission gates will open at 10:00 am. Ticket booths are located at the South end of the stadium. Home team spectators are assigned to the EAST side bleachers (press box side), visiting team spectators are assigned to the WEST side bleachers. There are no crossovers or re-entry allowed. Admission is good for all three games. 

TICKETS

All tickets sales will begin two hours prior to the event at the event facility. There will be no advanced tickets sales. 

GENERAL ADMISSION - $12.00

STUDENTS with school ID - $10.00

SENIORS - $10.00

CHILDREN 4 AND UNDER - free 

PASS GATE - Spectators with State CIF passes, LA City Section Executive passes, and Gold passes are asked to show the pass at the ticket booth to receive their admission ticket for themselves and a guest. 

SEATING CHANGE AFTER EACH GAME

Inform your school community that after each game there will be an award presentation. After the presentation, all spectators wishing to remain for the next game should move to a seat outside the participating school area. Student sections, bands and drill teams are asked to vacate their seating area as quickly as possible to allow the next school to replace them. 

ADA ACCOMMODATIONS

Murdock Stadium offers accommodations for wheelchairs and for spectators with restricted mobility. The stadium features ramps to access the lower level of the bleachers. 

SPECTRUM TV

Spectrum, the official broadcast and webcast partner of the CIF Los Angeles City Section, has committed to a live broadcast of the Section Football Championships. 

All three games will be broadcast on Spectrum Community channel 84. Exact kickoff time has been set at seven minutes after the hour to accommodate the broadcast. 

LIVE STREAMING will be online at www.myspectrumsports.com and will be available to only Spectrum subscribers.

CROWD BEHAVIOR AND SECURITY 

Security has been hired by the Section to provide for the safety of the event. All attendees are subject to search upon entry. School rules of conduct and behavior will be enforced during the event. Any spectator that becomes unruly during the event or are in violation of school rules and regulations will be removed from the facility. School administrators and supervision are responsible for enforcement of appropriate behavior and language during the championship. It is required that all signs brought into the facility be approved by the school administration. Any demeaning, derogatory, inflammatory, vulgar, or excessive large signage will be confiscated. 

The El Camino College Campus Police Department will be the agency responsible for addressing all safety issues that may arise during the game. Our Security personnel will be first responders to any emergency in the stadium. LAUSD may provide additional police presence.
