Narbonne and Crenshaw Win CIF State Football Titles

Narbonne and Crenshaw won CIF State football titles on December 16 capping off a historic day for the CIF LA City Section.

The Gauchos defeated Pittsburg, 28-21, in the Division 1-A bowl game rallying from a 21-0 deficit to capture their second state title in three years. Narbonne celebrated the championship at Sacramento State University where they also won in 2015.

Down south, the Cougars won their first-ever State title with a dramatic 46-43 win over Placer in the Division 4-AA bowl game. Pure pandemonium ensued on Crenshaw’s home field.
