The Los Angeles Unified School District has contracted with K & K Insurance Company to undrwrite Student Insurance products for the 2012-13 school year. See attachments for policy information

In a memo distributed to high school principals and members of the Interscholastic Athletic Committee, results of a data comparison recently made between LAUSD students who participate in athletics and those who do not, showed that participation in athletics leads to grade point averages, standardized test scores and attendance rates that are significantly higher than the average of the rest of the Student Body. The Interscholastic Athletic Committee has approved the football league and division alignment for the 2012-13 football season.
