Palisades Charter captured the Boys Golf Team championship to advance to the CIF Southern California Regional Tournament.

Carson, Eagle Rock, LACES, and Rancho Dominguez will represent the CIF Los Angeles City Section in the Southern California Regional Tournament.

Myra Einberg, a long time volleyball and golf coach at Venice High School, was selected by the State CIF as a recipient of the 2013-14 Distinguished Service Award. Myra retired in 2013 and is currently the CIF Los Angeles City Section Golf Sport Coordinator and is an active volunteer with the Friends of Golf, a nonprofit organization that promotes youth golf programs throughout the United States. Myra was instrumental in securing the distribution of new golf clubs to over 80 students from the CIF Los Angeles City Section.

Time Warner Cable Community has announced its television coverage plans for this spring’s California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) championship events. The CIF Los Angeles City Section Baseball championships will air live on the network and the softball championships will air on tape delay. Time Warner Cable Community will also air San Diego Section and CIF State Championships. For the full schedule see press release below.
