After an outstanding regular season, the Highlanders earned the right to play in the Open Division

okay. First of all talk about just how proud you are of this season so far and in the Cooper got your coaching catch me off-guard every game they're playing so well they play together they compensate for the lack of size and most guys hang out all the time together and I think that's really contribute to their success so their friends they're getting on each other a little bit more weeks have been an issue in the past accountability but this group just amaze me everyday you're in the open division which is so exciting and you're missing wife says Westchester Fairfax Ann Arbor Birmingham last year defending open Champion now you know it's it's huge for the guys I mean I don't think they realize what they've accomplished obviously we've never been an open division here at Granada just I don't I don't think it's all sunk in what they're doing these guys are doing y'all know recruits no opener Roman spots these are just kids that have been here they've committed to the program that committed to our offseason workouts we don't go around playing games all day like everybody else and you ball and playing every weekend we do skills can we watch film and we do things that are always fun but they've all bought in in the see them grow in the sea and other people react to their success is spend amazing to me this is definitely nothing about me I've coached the same way for many many years but to get a group of kids to buy in like they have and a group of parents to support me and allow me to do I've learned to do has been amazing you know so that's it will enjoy it along when it's over but these guys aren't done yet I think they're still a surprise with two for four people talk about the challenge of playing in the West Valley which this year have four teams make the open division outstanding to be in that League like that because we're set up for positions that were in right now plan the athletes able to get that for you guys to get that confidence so we're set up and and we love going on the road and play less distractions it's been a big issue for our guys playing at home if you look over the past few seasons
