ECR LIVE's Josh Schaefer shares the top 5 ECR sports moments for 2015

thanks Emily the 2015 fall semester was a very memorable one for the El Camino Real Charter High School athletic department student-athletes made names for themselves and more importantly for their school instead of bringing you a traditional Sports recap of the semester we bring you the first-ever ECR top 5 we hope you enjoy so here are 2015 fall semester top five moments in ECR Sports to start off our list we have the ECR girls and boys varsity cross country teams each finish in third place at the CIF Los Angeles City Section championships at Pierce College due to their outstanding performances Justin Hazel and Giselle Fernandez Ramirez to the California state championships  the 4th most memorable moment was a difficult Choice there were so many different spectacular moments to choose from the girls varsity volleyball season taking the fourth spot was ecr's early-season victory over their Rivals the Granada Hills Highlanders on the road emotions were high for ECR as they faced off for the defending West Valley League the game was also being live streams by Time Warner Cable the match between these bitter Rivals came down to a fifth and final set which was not surprising whatsoever ECR volume selves down by 4 points but March back and defeated the Highlanders in the fifth set earning their first victory over Granada Hills in nearly four seasons the girls would finish with a perfect record in League winning the West Valley league title if you keep up with ECR Sports you know the name Liddell Adkins however you might have just known him as simply number to until the Conquistadors week match at the Banning ECR fell behind early but found themselves right back in the game after Atkins was switched to the tailback position  UCR fell to the pilots in that game but found them what's another Dynamic running back it's a game that occurred several weeks later which actually takes the third spot on our list following a 300-plus rushing yard performance by Darien in the junior varsity football game Liddell Adkins put on a show of his own rushing for 395 yards and four touchdowns and a lost of the Taft toreadors remarkable is that he did not play the entirety of the second quarter due to a minor unannounced injury after just four weeks as an easy are running back Liddell Adkins and found that he had rushed for for 1,000 total yards at number two we have a group of incredible young women who made themselves well known throughout the city of Los Angeles the girls varsity volleyball team finds their way back to our list by earning revenge against the Carson Colts in the division 1 LA City Section championship game ecr's only loss of the regular season came against Carson in their season opener however the city section Championship followed a different script the Conquistador Swift Carson in three sets are in the program's First City Section Division 1 championship we love our girl varsity volleyball program however we will return to the football field for the number one moment of the fall semester and it's an obvious one if you missed ecr's West Valley League match is Tiger Gosselin and the Chatsworth Chancellor's you miss what might have been the greatest game and El Camino rielle football history ECR fell behind by 14 points but scored 20 unanswered and found themselves leading in the fourth quarter this is when things got crazy Chatsworth scored two quick touchdowns to tie the game ECR reclaim the lead on the yard touchdown run by C on Gordon but that only lasted for about a minute as one play later the Chancellor's would tie the game and then take the lead on the two-point conversion suddenly that see our offense was faced with their biggest challenge of the Year driving 60 yards with only 25 seconds left finally with 2.3 seconds remaining in regulation Junior Corps West Crockett Unleashed a 50 yard pass to Liddell Adkins and the rest was history here's the call BCR down by one here is Crockett under 10 seconds left towards the end zone and it is cut touchdown the game for took the top spot on our list do you enjoy don't forget to follow us on Twitter at underscore live for news and updates about ecrf over the winter break we hope you have a great break and we hope you enjoy the Sports wrap-up of the semester when we come back we will bring you a brief preview for all of our second semester sports teams for El Camino reality I'm Josh
